At this time of year, the abandoned for the season Skokie Water Playground becomes host to the most frightening experience in Skokie. With it's chainsaw maniacs and insane clown maze, Scream Scene has been terrifying visitors since 1997.

It was so much fun, I went 5 times last year.
each day they did something different.
It's not that scary, but if You're sensitive to flashing lights don't go They have strobe lights.
I was 13 last year I went and the first day I went I was kinda scared but then I went over and over It was so fun so I recommend it.
They can't touch you, but they can get really close to you. Ohh and btw if you're in line keep ur eyes on the front desk. -- Fiere crackers)

First time there this year. Was amazing! Decorations, props and arrangements were perfect. The terrors came one after other with good consistency. The terrors starts from one completely dark room and ends at the chainsaw guy. My friends screamed aloud when the chainsaw guy chased us. For me, the scariest part was the Clown Maze. It was fun. Costumes and makeups of the actors were very frightening. We will go again.

The place was sooooooo amazing!!! Scream Scenes was far better than we expected. The Clown Maze was really insane. It had different clowns coming after you. The chainsaw maniacs were really spooky. The creepy hospital room was a scary experience altogether. The clown hallway was very disorienting. The audio, lightings, and visuals were spot-on. I suggest this haunted house to all scare lovers. Definitely we will be back.

So much fun and pretty scary! The experiences encountered in the house were really terrifying. Characters in the creepy hospital rooms were demented ones. The special effects were awesome. There was a lot of animatronics too… My brave friends screamed out loud more than twice in the Clown Maze. The staff were informative and friendly. All in all a great time.
