Willow Creek Farm
Shannon, IL 61078
This property dates back to 1800s and was then owned by William Boardman and his wife who were originally from England. Additional homes had been built around the property to accommodate his daughters and their families.
Prior to the Boardman's using the property as their home, the area belonged to Native Americans. Many have reportedly seen and heard the sounds of Native Americans ghosts, including them drumming, singing, and the feeling of being touched by the shadowy figures. Today it remains as a small working farm.
