Flapper Ghost of Waldheim Cemetery
Forest Park, IL 60130
A female ghost is said to reside at this cemetery. She's been seen since the 1930s by people who claim she appears as a brunette with 1920s clothes on. In many instances it would occur in the evening. She would appear at dance halls and ask for a ride home, directing drivers to Waldheim Cemetery. She would tell them she lived in the caretaker's cottage or an apartment nearby. When dropped off, she'd disappear among the tombstones.

So my boyfriend and I decided to go for a walk but we were tired of going to the same places. I suggested we go to waldheim because I've been there once with some friends but they were to chicken to go inside. So we went to CVS by Harlem and Cermak and bought a disposable camera and went to the darkest part of the place. Once we got in we started taking pictures and even found the bench where it's said that you can see a women sitting there. We didn't see the woman but I felt an overwhelming amount of sadness when I sat on the bench. As we continued walking more into the darkness and snapping pictures we heard a very eerie loud scream in the distance. We decided to head back to car after that lol. Couple days later I got the developed photos and saw a lot of orbs and strange mist. Mind you it was a clear fall night. It was a very cool spooky experience I'll never forget.
