If you've heard the eerie tales surrounding Archer Avenue in Chicago, then you likely know the story of "Resurrection Mary." Mary's ghost has been haunting the street since the 1930s, after she was hit by a car and killed after having an argument with her date. One of the reports date back to the 1970s, when the police were called about a woman grasping the gate of Resurrection Cemetery, which borders the road, after she apparently was locked in. When the police arrived, there was no woman to be found, however, they spotted scorch marks on the bent gate.
