Review This HauntEmail Verified Scary, exciting and fun
Went to Midnight Terror haunt with my GF. It was scary, exciting and fun. We traversed the 26k sq.ft area soaking in all what they threw at us, despite she screaming in between. The interactive snow ball fight with the flexible elves was interesting. The actors were all excellent and professional in their conduct. The chainsaw alley had all the gore you could think of. Overall, it was entertaining right from the queue to the exit. Ticket rates were reasonable as well. Check it out if you want to enjoy some decent scares.

LAME
This haunted house was not good. It was definitely big and took a long time to go through but it was not scary at all!! what a waste of money. The actors were so off their marks most of the time not jumping out until you were out of a room.

Lots of fun and scare moments
One of the scariest haunts I visited of late. It had bone-chilling scary moments, excellent props, grotesque actors, and gore. The sets were specifically designed to play with your mind and hide scares. Actors were professional and they knew what they’re doing. Snowball fight was lots of fun, with its share of scare moments. To sum it up, I had a blast. Worth every penny paid for the ticket. Now planning to bring my GF along next time.

Email Verified Obstacle of the Dead as amazing!!
It was near my place. So we reached there quicker. Secondly, the lines moved fast. We did not opt for a VIP pass.. still it did not matter in the end. My GF loved the intricate character interaction and the snowball fight. Of course, they still managed to scare the daylight out of us. Don’t trust anything you encounter in the Obstacle of the Dead. There are pitch black moments where the actors will scare you. If you lose direction anywhere, that is when you get the best bone-chilling scare moment. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Illinois.

Email Verified Chainsaw was scary and mind blowing!!
This one was a unique haunt I have ever visited. It was filled with butcher’s shop, school, library, jail, and a mechanic shop. The finale with the chainsaw was mind blowing. We had to bend and crawl around tight spaces around the trail and it was creepy walking like that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The actors were brilliant and stuck to the storyline till the end which was entertaining. It was like being in a horror movie. Loved it and will come back next October.

Email Verified Encounter scares at every corner!
Like a thunderbolt revelation we decided to checkout this place and thankfully it was not too far and reached their pretty quick. Though there was enough crowd the lines moved fast. The entertainment outside was fab and we were quite surprised. The scenes were lively, gory and the terror it created was amazing. It was funny to watch people sliding across the floor. The haunting music, visuals and people in zombie, chainsaw costumes were a plenty and it was mind blowing. There are enough and more jump scares and you will encounter that at every corner. They keep the momentum even when you are outside. It was time very well spent and looking forward to it again.

Terrifying from start to finish
Both awesome and terrifying from start to finish. I, wife and her sister had a great time in the haunt. It had confined spaces and dark areas where they’ll get you. The interactive snow ball fight was one of a kind experience. It was scary, yet lots of fun. The chainsaw scare drove the daylight out of the ladies. The set design was spot-on with lots of attention to details. Actors did a great job throughout the haunt. Worth the $25 paid. I will visit again for sure.

Email Verified Spectacular scare show
The entire event was a success and we were glad that we made it through. I would recommend this haunt to all Halloween freaks. The set design was unique and spectacular. You are entertained from the waiting line. There were characters that will walk around to get you ready for what is on store inside. There are confined spaces and pitch dark rooms that is enough to evoke fear and make us run out. I could hear my heart thump and honestly walked out with a relief that it is over and done. I lost my way and that got me worried about the n number of jump scares I need to face alone. Even then I will be back again.

Fantastic
An amazing job by the team. Sets and sound effects are fantastic. We were screaming and startled most of the time. No regrets.

Not impressed
Not impressed by any room in the haunt. I’m easily scared still didn’t find anything scary here. Want to get scared, try somewhere else.

Email Verified Well packed terrors
Great time with my family at Midnight Terror. Queue wasn’t very long and inside house is well packed with terrors and scares. All actors did a fantastic job in scaring all of us. We all got spooked. I’m glad to visit this place and looking forward for the same bang next year.

Email Verified Terrible management
My wife and I totally regret spending our money here. The creatures in the house are more annoying than scary. They send in lots of people inside the house, and that ruins the whole fun. It’s the terrible haunt we have ever been to.

Email Verified Average haunt
The place needs at least twice the staffing and the actors needed better makeups. There are lots of empty spots as well. We liked one or two scares, apart from that its waste of time.
